
Cook-Aid Smart Timer System
This project is to create an innovative kitchen timer system that uses projection and voice control, replacing traditional mechanical timers. The projected interface introduces a more dynamic and intuitive way to manage cooking tasks, allowing users to clearly visualize multiple timers simultaneously. This system enhances functionality by offering hands-free operation through voice commands, making it more convenient for busy or multitasking users. The sleek, modern design seamlessly integrates into contemporary kitchen environments, blending aesthetic appeal with practicality. The animation demonstrates the projection-based kitchen timer in action, showcasing how timers dynamically appear on the table surface. As the user interacts, the projection seamlessly adjusts, allowing for clear visualization of multiple timers at once. This system provides an intuitive and hands-free experience, where users can set, adjust, or dismiss timers using simple voice commands

The chassis design of the device focuses on a small and compact form factor, ensuring it seamlessly integrates into modern kitchen environments without occupying excess space. The design process explored ergonomic shapes and minimalistic aesthetics, balancing functionality with a sleek, unobtrusive presence. Various iterations were tested to optimize user interaction, portability, and stability, making the device easy to place on different surfaces while maintaining a strong visual identity.
